Rules of engagement

To maintain the Cuba Cruising Forum as a vibrant, useful and entertaining discussion venue, please refrain from posting:
   1. Material which libels, defames, abuses or threatens others, or is inflammatory.
   2. Material that contains vulgar, obscene or indecent language or images.
   3. Messages that advocate illegal activity or discusses illegal activities with the intent to commit them.
   4. Statements that are bigoted, hateful or racially offensive.
   5. Advertising or any form of commercial solicitation.
   6. Unauthorized copyrighted material.
   7. Attachments of any type or size.
   8. Material that does not pertain to cruising the Cuban coast and other Caribbean places.

The last item needs to be stressed. We are all about cruising the coast of Cuba. Posts can include observations about people, places and issues that affect our ability to enjoy this activity. Naturally, given the nature of the subject matter, some political issues will arise. Please limit the political discussion to the context of our ability to visit Cuba by boat. If we stray from this formula, this communications medium risks becoming tedius and irrelevant.

Posters are expected to sign their posts with their name. Adding your boat type and location to your signature block can also help others to get to know you. Please avoid long signature blocks.

Thanks for registering. Now let us hear your thoughts.
