Here’s a couple of high-altitude satellite images of Cuba and environs. Note the Bahamas-like waters just north of the Isle of Youth, that big island off the south western shore. In the bottom shot, a second shallow area appears on the south shore toward the middle of the island. The archipelago of small cays in this area is called The Queen’s Gardens
